Participation in the Internet-Network EXPO

LG TEK participates in 'the Internet-Network EXPO' that is sponsored by imbc. In the EXPO, which is held from 13th to 16th of march at Seoul Trade Exhibition Center, LG TEK, as a company specialized in network infrastructure, will demonstrate various network services including CDN service, solutions and equipment. CDN service is a high-end core Internet technology. It distributes objects of web contents among strategically deployed servers on networks, which are distributed geographically. By delivering objects in the closest server to a web user, it improves both speed and quality of the service . LG TEK jumped into the full-scale CDN business in December last year and is providing a service that applies different technologies according to web data, VOD (Video On Demand) and live streaming. You can see the demonstration of live streaming in the EXPO. As well as CDN service, we will see the presentation of the Inktomi search engine, currently ranking as the most popular in the world. The Inktomi search engine is customizable and is capable of building a site specialized to meet the needs of the client. We can also expect to see the Inktomi Traffic Server, which is designed to ease extreme traffic jams in the Internet and to enhance the overall network efficiency, this Includes a Contents Filter - software capable of blocking prejudicial sites. The EXPO displays various products such as Air Station, which is equipment for building a wired/wireless LAN that expands the wireless LAN market beyond Ethernet environment by being applicable to CATV and ADSL, cIPro-VPN from Rad Guard Inc. in Israel, SOX from CTI, and Entrasys, a switch router. Through the EXPO, LG TEK plans to solidify its position in the market as a company specialized in network infrastructure, and to carry out aggressive marketing. At the same time , it will demonstrate all the services and products exhibited in the EXPO to help the visitors understanding of what is on offer. 'The Internet-Network EXPO' is the biggest Internet-network related event, which is sponsored by imbc and held by the Korea Network Association. Its main purpose is to promote businesses in relation to the Internet and networks and also to encourage the diversity of development through exhibition and conference. ¡¡
