LG TEK has completed 220kV Power Transmission Line Project in Sri Lanka on the 25th of June 2002 as it received Taking Over Certificate from Ceylon Electricity Board("CEB"). As the first overhead transmission line project abroad, LG TEK enhanced its brand name in Sri Lanka again after the completion of telecom Cable networks projects in Colombo as well as Negombo area.
The project is consisted of 17Km of transmission line throughout the swampy area with the highly difficult accesses. However, with the cooperation from client and our local customers and project management know-how as well as familiarity of the culture and nature of Sri Lanka, LG TEK could lead the project successful. LG TEK will continuously strengthen its good business relationship with the telecom and utility clients in Sri Lanka. |
