KTF (www.ktf.com / CEO Joongsu Nam) and LG TEK (www.lgtek.co.kr / CEO Youngha Park) entered into the agreement on mutual cooperation on home network business in the KTF main office building located at Daechi Dong, Kangnam Ku, Seoul on the 18th.
Through this agreement, both companies attempts to incorporate mobile solutions from KTF and home networking solutions from LG TEK for development of remote control system that materializes convenience of ¡®digital home¡¯ by connecting to ¡®MagicN Multipack¡¯ wireless internet service with cellular phones. Commercialization of the system is planned for early next year. Major services to be provided through the system include ¡Ø remote controls for lighting, heating, air-conditioning and household appliances ¡Ø crime prevention function with detection for fire and intruder ¡Ø shopping area information service integrated with a main server of apartment complex.
