LG TEK concluded business agreement on FTTH business affiliation after organizing ¡°FTTH-based Home network business propelling conference¡± with Wooriro Optical Communications, Global Optical Communications, and Korea Alps last 15th. Hence the foothold to advance for FTTH business has been prepared by securing the core components of FTTH integrated solution. As for the supply of FTTH related equipments, this company that had concluded MOU with Syspol (Representative Director Seong Gi-cheol) will be supplied with optical components including divider, cable, connectors, etc. The cooperative research and marketing activity through synergy effect driven by affiliation with Korea Alps that possesses optical based solution, and promising optical business Wooriro Optical Communications has accelerated the occupation of FTTH market. The splitter developed by Wooriro Optical Communications was selected as one of the best quality product for next-generation by Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy. It is also unfolding diversified international marketing including reinforcing export and quality verification, as well as activating the FTTH market in Korea and Japan with DWDM type Optical transmission device and VOA besides the splitter. Global Optical Communication, the manufacturer of optical cables has also developed FTTH optical cable for in-house installation and initiated mass production.
