Railroad Project Team Receives Excellence Award..

June 18, 2004 - LG Tek (www.gsneotek.co.kr) announced that its Railroad Project Team received an award for Excellence on June 1st from the Korea Rail Network Authority for is contribution to the signal system implementation on the Kyungbu high speed railway. The award was given by the Korea National Railroad and Korea Rail Network Authority for excellence in construction (award given in woodwork, architecture, electric work, signal, and communications categories) of the signal system. Railroad Project Team received the award for their contribution to the safety of the railway systems through its high quality workmanship in the implementation of the signal system for the Kyungbu high speed railway between Seoul and Daejon and other portions of the railroad system. The Railroad Project Team won the award for 2nd year in a row, solidifying its leading position and its technical excellence in signal systems. Korea Rail Network Authority gives the companies with its Excellence award an extra point for a year when evaluating potential vendors for new projects, and LG Tek expects this to act favorably in obtaining new projects in the future.
