GS Neotek was awarded the certificate of KOSHA18001 in the construction business field at the Conference Room (9th floor) of the Head Office building on the 23rd of December.

‘KOSHA18001’ is a certificate of ‘Occupational Health and Safety Management System’ awarded by KOSHA. It is the system that requires the management to reflect industrial safety and health policy in its autonomous management guideline, making further detailed implementation guideline/standard, periodically performing self-evaluation on the result of execution on safety and health plan, and improving the process thereon. It is a sort of autonomous safety and health scheme to systematically promote the activity of preventing disaster and reducing corporate loss.

The event was held in the presence of CEO Sung Jin Choi and officers/employees, Kim Jung-gu, KOSHA Seoul District Chief, and the persons concerned. President Choi said “acquiring the KOSHA18001 certificate is the fruit obtained from the combined efforts of officers/employees and management through the working-level personnel and the coordinated system. “At the starting line for building the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, we need to actively participate in such activity so that this system can settle and grow in the future and finally reduce the accident ratio” he added. In this ceremony, the achievement prizes were awarded to Oh Chang-hak, Manager of Euijeongbu LRT facility project site and Han Hyeon-ho at the Mechanical/Electrical Project supporting department.
